LAWRENCE, NEW YORK (SEPTEMBER 2025)—At a recent Board of Education meeting, the Lawrence School District proudly recognized several exceptional educators earning tenure. This significant milestone was celebrated in the presence of school administration, Board of Education members, and Superintendent Dr. Pedersen, marking a moment of pride and accomplishment for the entire district.
The tenure recipients were honored for their unwavering dedication, incredible work ethic, and deep commitment to student growth and academic excellence. They have each made a lasting impact on students and the school community, consistently demonstrating professionalism, passion, and a drive to inspire young learners.
Superintendent Dr. Ann Pedersen shared heartfelt words during the celebration, "Earning tenure is not just about time served,” she said. “It's about the impact made, the challenges overcome, and the love our educators pour into their classrooms every day. I am so proud of our tenured staff and grateful for their commitment to our school community. They represent the very best of Lawrence."
