LAWRENCE, NEW YORK (APRIL 2024)—Lawrence High School recently hosted its induction ceremony and honors recital for Chapter 1787 of the Tri-M Music Honor Society. This event celebrated the talents and achievements of the school’s most dedicated music students, showcasing their commitment to excellence in music education.

The induction ceremony welcomed the select group of students who were inducted into the Tri-M Music Society. These students ably demonstrated exceptional musicianship, leadership, and service within the Lawrence High School music community, embodying the core values of the Tri-M organization.

"We are thrilled to celebrate the induction of our talented students into the Tri-M Music Honor Society,” said Andrew Krahm, Tri-M Advisor at Lawrence High School. “The distinction earned by each student showcases their remarkable musical abilities and recognizes their hard work and dedication.”

Following the induction ceremony, attendees were treated to a recital featuring performances from solo instrumentalists and vocal ensembles, The recital highlighted the breadth and depth of talent nurtured within the Lawrence High School’s music program.

The Tri-M Music Honor Society, a program of the National Association for Music Education (NAfME), recognizes and rewards students for their musical achievements and contributions to their school's music program. Induction into the Tri-M Honor Society is a prestigious honor that signifies a student's commitment to musical excellence and service.

"We are incredibly proud of our Tri-M members and the positive impact they have on our school's music program," added Pam Gallopino, District Music Coordinator. "Their passion for music and dedication to their craft serve as inspiration to their peers and exemplify the spirit of artistic achievement."
