LAWRENCE, NEW YORK (FEBRUARY 2026)— Lawrence Universal Prekindergarten (UPK) students recently enjoyed a special visit from a local dentist, Dr. Grosser at Smiles Off Central, who helped teach them the importance of good oral health in a fun and engaging way.
During the visit, students learned why it’s important to brush their teeth twice a day and how making healthy food choices can help keep their smiles strong. The visiting dentist shared age-appropriate tips and answered questions, helping students better understand how to care for their teeth.
As part of the interactive lesson, students practiced proper brushing techniques using dentist puppets, making the experience both educational and enjoyable. The hands-on activity gave students the confidence to apply what they learned at home.
Lawrence UPK students are excited to show their families their new brushing skills and share what they learned about keeping their teeth healthy. The school community extends its thanks to the local dentist for taking the time to support early childhood health education.
