Today we participated in Patriots Day. We remember and honor the lives lost on September 11th, 2001. We also honor the brave community helpers who kept us safe. We learned about kindness, courage and how to be a helpful friend.
What a wonderful first day of school! Our Pre-K children are ready for a year full of learning and laughter.

NYS is requiring a cell phone ban in all areas of school from ' bell to bell". Please talk with your children, as this is a major switch. We are here, always, to support them as we comply with this regulation. District issued Chromebooks are not impacted.

Turtles and lizards and snakes oh my! Today we learned all about different types of animals. We enjoyed petting the turtles and tortoise. We learned about pythons and blue tongue lizards. One of our favorites was petting the bunny at the end of the show!

Today we begin to say Goodbye to our ABC's. Each child enjoyed blowing and popping bubbles for our Amazing Bubbles!
Today we said goodbye to our butterflies as we released them into the world. The children enjoyed experiencing the life cycle of their butterflies. 🐛🦋
Pre-K had a great time visiting all of the various trucks and learning about our community helpers during truck day. We even tasted some ice cream and jumped in the bounce house!
What a wonderful week celebrating our hard working and dedicated teachers. Our Pre-K teachers go above abd beyond for their students each and every day. Thank you teachers-you are appreciated!

We ended our Week of the Young Child by celebrating our families in the classroom. Families participated in spring/recycling themed centers. We had a fun and memorable week!
Today we participated in Artsy Thursday! We created class murals and spring projects.
Work Together Wednesday! Today we combined classrooms and worked together building, putting puzzles together and playing with the parachute.
Today we continue celebrating Week of the Young Child with Tasty Tuesday! Children learned about different types of fruits and vegetables. They created a "friendly face" and had a healthy snack.
Kicking off Week of the Young Child with Music Monday! Each child made their own instrument and paraded through the school in celebration.
Wearing green and exploring some Irish traditions for St. Patrick's Day!
